Lead-acid battery has a characteristic of well reversibility, stable voltage, besides its low price and long life-span have made it widely used in every field. In order to improve the charging efficiency of the lead-acid battery and prolong its life-span, we select the intelligent charger for the administration. But recently, the usage of the lead-acid has been increasing rapidly, especially each charger is separated and independent in different locations, a requirement of a highly automatic system which can check, record, control each charger instead of labor and conserve the parameter of charging network has been proposed, according to the present situation i put forward a solution scheme for the lead-acid battery charging network.From borrowing the experience of other traditional lead-acid battery charger administration scheme, this project presents an improved scheme with the advantage of the Ethernet on which data is transmitted. It decreases the cost of the network wire lying at most. Meanwhile the traditional control method which use the PCs as the terminal is substituted by the embedded system, if communication rules are defined for the control terminal and intelligent charger with the extra necessary data checksum, the whole lead-acid battery charging network's anti-jamming and security are enhanced.The embedded system is the control terminal, and the hardware and software design is located in the center of the article. The project's framework is accomplished by analyzing the needed module driver, the porting embedded system of UC/OS-II and the analysis of the LwIP embedded TCP/IP stack. In order to guarantee the control terminal to work stably in the industrial environment, a lot of work has been made for the clipping and optimization for the OS core and drivers during the whole development process. With the user-defined transmission protocol, data can be transmitted in a high throughput and security inside the measure and control network. The whole programme was integrated with different kinds of hardware drives. They coorperate with the OS to accomplish more complex tasks. This article has made every concrete industrial requirement encapsulated in the form of API function which makes the updating and the maintenance of the whole system more convient to realize. After compiling the code and download it to the evalboard.
