The technique of Rapid Prototyping Manufacture is an important developing direction of manufacturing industry,and it is also the front manufacture technique researched by university,development facility and enterprise. American is in leading Position in this field,and other country also acquired substantial achievement such as Japan,China and some country in Europe. Nowadays,the cost of Rapid Prototyping Technique mainly used by big enterprise because of high cost,so the hot topic in research mainly concentrates in reducing cost,developing new energy,material and craft,so that Three Dimensional Printing(3DP) come out. 3DP is a kind of Economic RP which can be widely accepted for its advantages of laser-free, cost effective, high reliability, compact equipment and high speed. The research object is to develop a new material applied in 3DP system with potential industrial application.Materials of 3DP, especially its powder are discussed in detail, the influence of powder's shape, size distribution, density, components and liquid saturation for 3DP process are analyzed, meanwhile, different kinds of powder, including starch, gypsum and their bond materials are introduced. Gypsum based compound powder mixture and its bond solution are developed .The main components and their function of the additives have been researched by the experiments and micro structure analysis; mean while, the physical and chemical properties of the powder mixture and the bond solution are measured .The Material researched by this Project has much superiority such as lower cost,environmental protection,compared with the other Rapid Prototyping Technique because the technique uses mixture of gypsum and additive as its raw material. The Rapid Prototyping Technique adopts the suitable craft made the Production has the suitable intensity as concept prototype,function test Prototype, mold and function components so that can substitution the existing plastic and resin model in some degree.Method of Uniform Design with restricted mixtures is used to design the experiments of powder mixtures, the experiments work are greatly decreased without affecting the analysis of the disciplinarian of the mixture to 3DP product's performance. Regressions mixtures model with polynomials and inverse terms are set up and the multi-objective optimization model is developed. After that the calculated optimum result is verified by experiment, which indicates that the regress and optimum results are available in the certain range, and the result can be the references for selecting appropriate mixtures.
