The Application Of Embedded System Based On S3C2410/LINUX In The Train Monitoring Device

Train Monitoring Device is a digital electron monitoring recorder, which can operate the trains by registering and memorizing the data of the running trains while accomplishing the data in-out by interfaces. It provides a kind of modernized method of management for administration department, at the same time, it accelerates administrant automatization of the trains. It takes a very important place for ensuring the security of the running trains and the analyse of accidents. In China, the set has been developed greatly since 90's of 20th century, however, it still exists some scarcity when compared with international Train Monitoring Device.To satisfy the great requirements of people, and keeping consistentence with the standard for controling running trains of IEEE based on communication. This thesis designs a main Train Monitoring Device module based on the embeded system, which uses SAMSUNG's S3C2410 32 processor and Linux operating system. This module develops not only the real-time of the system, but also its functions.The thesis particularly discusses the design and realization of the software and hardware of main engine module of Train Monitoring Device. In the part of the designing hardware, this thesis expatiates the idea of designing the system based on the S3C2410/Linux embedded system as well as different plans for comparison of the quality of each function module. Then it gives a description of the final plan and particularly introduces the characteristic and application of each main function part. In the part of the software design, this article introduces the entire process for the translation and transplant on S3C2410 used BOOTLOADER and LINUX operating system. Simultaneously, makes the detailed description of LINUX which drives the design of the graphic display device and the pressed key equipment system.
