Under The Prop Enterprise Influence, Yunnan Small Urban Development Comparison Research

In Yunnan, a economically underdeveloped areas, the economic growth dynamic factors of most cities develop relatively slowly because of the restriction of geographical location,traffic conditions and so on. While some of the small cities have a rapid development since some large enterprises there. On one hand, the urbanization gets remarkable achievements, but on the other hand, the rapid development of these cities has also brought many problems, especially the relationship between cities and enterprises -harmony and contradictions. It's necessary to explore its internal reasons and mechanisms and to identify the measures.This paper summarized and researched abundance of domestic and foreign urban economy, geography, traffic and cultural theory. In this basic, the paper took two small citites-Mile and Anning in Yunnan as the research objects, then Carding the urban development and profile of the history of industrial development in Yunnan to find the background factors. With comparison of the geographic, economic, transportation and other aspects, this paper analyses the development conditions and the engendering of dominant enterprises in these two cities to look for different levels of urban development motivating factors for providing support to the dominant enterprises' important role in the development of cities.Then this paper, from a microcosmic aspect, discusses the Honghe Cigarette Factory and Kunming Steel Plant's influence to Mile and Anning respectively including their urban space, landscape and cultural and analyses advantages and disadvantages of different development models' influence to the city.On this basis, the paper summarizes the two cities and their development pattern: coordination model which is manifested by Mile and Honghe Cigarette Factory's development and the dual model which is manifested by Anning and Kunming Steel plant's development. Additionally, the paper discusses the reasons for the formation of two different models from four aspects: the industrial difference, institutional, individual entrepreneurs and local governments, in order to find a proper way. Finally this paper suggests to establish a small cities development strategy from the concept, structure, industrial chain design, the development of urban and rural planning.This paper makes full use of various research methods and means to analyze the pillar-based enterprises' impact to the development of small cities in Yunnan, come to the conclusion of strategies and measures to deal with urban development, and put forward the ways and means for the improvement of the examples chosen by this paper. The author hopes to provide some useful information for the healthy development of small cities of underdeveloped western region.
