Concrete is the artificial stone that tensile capacity equivalent to only one-tenth of its compressive properties, concrete cracks ware described as "insurmountable technical problems" in the engineering sector. In addition to full PC structures, the majority of concrete structures worked with the cracks. Concrete cracks ranging from the impact of external components appearance to heavy cracks affected the normal use. In this paper, author found the rapid method on distinguishing of concrete bridge cracks type by summing up the formation of concrete cracks principle.This paper carried out the following work with specific examples of projects by the mainline of cracks investigation-cracks Recognition- cracks Diagnosis- cracks Repair:1,The paper starts with the principle of reasons for the concrete cracks and goes through concrete cracks principle. Author classifies period of the various Cracks and the position of cracks easily arising, represents the cracks appearance in the concrete surface, and then establishes the common cracks signature recognition database, with a view of achieving the purpose of rapid type of project cracks recognition. Crack signature recognition technology is established by fully understanding between the mechanism of various common cracks and the experience of the cracks understanding over the years.2,According to the general steps to crack detection, the paper analyzed tower cracks on a cable-stayed bridge, and got the type of cracks by applied cracks signature recognition technology.3,The paper chooses the typical cracks components for finite element analysis, uses large-scale finite element software ANSYS as a platform, establishes finite element model and simulates the stress on the tower anchorage zoon. And then judges the causes of appearance of cracks and supplies the plan for repair work.4,In this paper, we hope to prevent cracks from guiding the theory of cracks and mending them in proper way.
