The research of using of the city commercial compact district underground spacz is a new kind of research topic, which is following lots of problems in the urban development process.Such as environmend, transportation ecology, sustarnable development and so forth. While the characterisfic of the research object is that this part of space all distributes in the city anderground part, different from the ordinary ground construction, this has decided the characteristic, shortcomrng and development directron in the future of the city commercial compact district underground space.This article starts with the development condition of the city commercial compact district underground space, after the simple introduction of its use condition , then discuss the design method of this special space shape, range from the distributed characteristic of underground special space to using form of the underground space.This article hopes to summarize the effective method and the questions which should be paid attention to in this progress, through the discuss of the city commercial compact district underground space concrete disign method.At present, Xi'an has yielded certain result to the aspect of the using research of the city commercial compact district underground space .This paper introduces briefly the Xi'an city commercial compact district underground space development situation and analyzes the insuffticiency and the development directron in the future of the plan and using of Xi'an's the city commercial compact district underground space, and hopes that through the analysis and summaries of Xi'an's examples, it could be the benefit reference to the other cities in the development of the use of the city commercial compact district underground space.
