The Research Of The Measurement System For The Ammunition Structural Characteristics

In order to meet the requirement of measuring the ammunition's structrucal characteristics, the measuring system for the ammunition structural characteristics is developped. The length, diameter, mass, mass center, partiality distance, rotational inertia etc. are the main parameters to be measured.In this article, the measuring theory and error analysis, the principle of the measuring system and the layout of the mechanical device are introduced firstly, then the proper sensor and power supply compponent are choiced, next, the hardware and the accoding software system are completed. Single chip AT89C51 is the core compponent in the circuit, the data collection and the communication between the upper and lower computer. The exterior devices are controled through the relays. Harmonized by the software, besides the scheduled function of the system can be realized, the measured data can be stored, processed and printed.
