The Application Of Automatic Identification System (AIS) Network System

AIS network is becoming a national network,but the fuction is limited.Except suppling a terminal to VTS center,it barely exchange information with other systems.It is not only a waste of AIS message but also delay the development of digital navagation and the requirement of modern VTS. This paper do a serie of analsis about the property of AIS network and the requirement of other systems,propose a plan to change this situation,to improve AIS message operating factor.Besides,VTS aid to navagation message has a limited both right and characters,which makes some aid to navagation messages are ignored or misunderstood.This paper proposed a fixed AIS message format to transmit VTS aid to navagation message,using the necessary least bytes.At last,this paper compares the function between LRIT and AIS,propose the future application of AIS network System.It has studied as follow:1. It has compared the international AIS Network System with our native AIS Network System,analysis the advantage and disadvantage of ours.2. It discuss the AIS structure,come up with the capacity of the AIS system.3. It compares the AIS message requirments of other organization ,using ASP.NET and MS SQL designed the AIS Control Center Network Server.Conclude the function and the component and the database.4. It studies the interconnection of AIS Network System and different systems,porpose different addictional function according to different systems.5. It developed a new broadcasting format of VTS aids-to-navagation message ,disscussed the format of Internation functions ,design the software with VC++.The functional area of AIS Network System is becoming biger and biger ,this paper disscuss the interconnection with other ralated systems,which will make a good effort to the development of AIS Network System .
