Research On Application Of "3S" Integrated Technology In Construction Project Management

In 21st century, the information technology is influencing more and more deeply the development of human's society. Applying the information technology to in each field has been the first strategic choice. The 3S spatial information integration technology is an important branch of the information technology; it has already been apply to many aspects of the construction fields, and will improve the project management level.This paper expatiates on the 3 S( GIS,RS and GPS) spatial information technique basic principle and method, and their concrete application and the latest progress in project management domain, analyzed the various sources data how to collect, process and quality control on the 3S data. On the basis of a study on the various sources data, the author tentatively advances the key technique and method of the 3S integrations. The key technique framework of various data source integrations that meet the need of standardizing the various source data (according to the international standardize data), unifying the network terrace (satisfaction the project management information requirements to the various sources dynamic data ), processing multidimensional data(the cycle time GIS,the 3 D GIS and VR-GIS), as well as embodiment of the integration and intelligence of the various system (the Component GIS), apply the direction development of the acculturation and implementing in the development direction of the system.Finally, based on the software ERDAS IMAGINE9.1, the paper provides a real case on the 3 S spatial information integration technology to explain its application outlook in the project management, and analyses its relation with the project management. Such as, intervisibility domes analysis, flood layers analysis, mist and cloud layers analysis, spatial navigation mode analysis, 3D animation analysis, virtrual roaming analysis etc.The studies we have performed showed that the 3 S spatial information integration technology provided more effective, immediate and interactive management method for the engineering project management. With the perfect development of the 3S spatial information technical, it will promote the technique and theories innovation of the project management methods, and push the project management method technique development from qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis and theories from experience to science theory.
