The Research And Software Development Of Ship Design Collaborative Workflow & File Management System

Nowadays the workflow technology is a hot research topic in current informationization field. Experts think of it as the foremost component of the collaborative software in the next generation. Especially during the eleventh five years plan, in order to realizing the magnificent target of Ship Product Collateral and Collaborative Design, Introducing workflow technology into File Management field of Ship Design will be necessary for explorating the Ship Design Informationization.Ship Design stages include four parts, such as price design, Preliminary design, detailed design, and constructive design. And a mass of files and drawings will be produced during each of the five stages. Such as general arrangement profile, lines plan views, structure views, performance calculation book, diversified stock lists etc. The traditional management method is not propitious to promote the efficiency and repeated usage. So there must be a new modern management method in ship design.The research and software development of ship design file & workflow management system is based on the web technology and workflow technology, and it is combined with Business Process Reengineering. It will provide an efficient management method to manage kinds of files and drawings. The thought of this system is that: adopting class and right thought to manage, and then the operators of each node in the workflow path carry out their operation and management to the moving files. And the management structure is netty model. In this netty ship design business workflow path, the files and drawings are operated by each node operator, to realize the collaborative design process.The main contents of this paper are as the following: (1). Study the workflow theories, workflow system development and BPR etc. this part is the paper's theory foundation. (2).Reengineering the Ship design business process by detailed analyses. (3). Systemic study the software development which is based on Web and B/S model. (4). In the VS.NET 2005,make use of the Rational Rose to construct the logical system model, and use the latest VB.NET and ASP.NET 2.0 to develop an integrate functional workflow and file management archetypal software, and finally to realize the research target.
