With the development of the modern ship manufacturing, the old methods, which mainly depend on the experiences of engineers working on the site face to a big challenge. Those methods are always behind the modern ship manufacturing module. So the actualizing of Virtual Ship Manufacturing, Digital Ship Manufacturing Technology and so on become more and more important especially after the Virtual Design, Three-dimensional Design, Concurrent Engineering come true.Select the best process routing from possible ones, the optimization of process planning comes true. That's because there are more than one possible way to assemble a hull block. According to the assembling sequence planning, there are separating application method, mixing application method and radiating application method, according to the boundary face of mating feature, there are forward-calculation method, backward-calculation method and sideward-calculation method, so there are 9 possible process routings at the most in order to assemble a hull block. You can select the best one from those based on the least manufacturing period or the least man-hour or the smallest manufacturing difficulty.In order to do this, firstly, decide the possible standard processes of assembling of a hull block, collecting the data of man-hour/ time limit for a project and working condition according to the standard process; secondly, select the data from the collecting one of the same sub-important and same working condition, analyzing the data based on the regressing method, calculate the possible man-hour, time limit for a project based on the regression module; thirdly, calculate the whole manufacturing difficulty of the possible process routings; lastly, applying Analytical Hierarchy Process to find the best process routing based on the calculated man-hour, time limit for a project and manufacturing difficulty.At the last of this paper, take a double bottom of oil tanker for example to validate the method, selecting the best process routing from the six ones. Under the background of Digital Ship Manufacturing Technology, it is valuable of the research on the optimization of process planning. Beside of this, it is also helpful to the theory and study of those aspects. |
