Development Of Experimental Bench For Internal-combustion Engine Undergraduate Teaching

The diesel engine teaching experimental bench is an important equipment for the practical teaching of internal-combustion engine major undergraduate students, which can meet the demands of the comprehensive, designing and creative practical teaching of the following courses such as the Principle of Internal-Combustion Engine, Testing Techniques, and so on and can help students grasp the working principle of diesel engine, testing methods and techniques of major performance indexes of diesel engine and the major technical measures which can improve the diesel engine performance, promoting students' practical ability and creativity. As an open multi-functional experimental bench which can stir students' passion for learning professional knowledge, the testing system of the experimental bench should be advanced in technology, complete in function, excellent in extendability, brief and fast in analyzing and processing experimental results, reliable and of direct perception in experimental results, etc. According to the traits and requirements of the teaching experimental bench, this thesis proposes the overall scheme of testing system which takes industrial personal computer as core and is based on the virtual instrument techniques and mainly focuses on studying the testing techniques of the diesel engine indicator diagram and the multi-oscillogram and the techniques analyzing the experimental data of the diesel engine indicator diagram and the multi-oscillogram. The testing system of the diesel engine teaching experimental bench has reached the desired results, serving an important supporting function in increasing the undergraduate teaching level.
