The simulation and the monitoring on the structure in construction are important to the structure in design and the structure in construction, because the design is always for the use in normal condition but not for the construction process, which is much different in the mechanical properties. Based on the project of the gymnasium in Huazhong University of science and technology, studied of the reticulated shell were performed in the numerical simulating and in the site monitoring, to assess the structure ability in design and in construction.Firstly, the methods of design, monitoring and construction for reticulated shell were introduced; then the improvement was acquired on the traditional method by finite element analysis, which modelled step by step; then the key effect factors in the process were reviewed.Secondly, the construction simulation were performed by the model in ANSYS. The effect were emphasized in the construction process, which induced by temperature, geometric nonlinearity, and boundary condition. The conclusions were given that the stress decreased thirty percent for temperature change 10℃, and decreased fifteen percent for considering the elasticity support.At last, the problem monitoring scenario were found though steel wire type resistance strain gage, the data of which were different with the simulating data about thirteen percent and were considered matched well with the engineering. The numerical simulation was verified by the scenarios.The conclusion of the numerical simulation and the monitoring analysis may provide some useful references to the theory in design and the engineering in construction of the reticulated shell structures. |
