With the development of the technology of hardware and software of the computer, the technology of CAD/CAM plays a more important role in the field of product and design. , which in a aspect is the representation of the level of the modernization of the science & technology and the industry of a nation.The technology of the 3D entity modeling not only could embody the idea of design sufficiently, but also is the foundation the mold design and the simulation of the manufacturing process and the assembling process. Step by step, in the field of design and produce the technology the 3D design substitutes for the technology of 2D design, which must be a direction in the future. What we have talked about is one of the main reasons that cause the rapid progress of the system of 3D CAD/CAM.In the pump industry in the nation, the CAD/CAM system is only the 2D CAD system, not the 3D entity modeling software that could integrate CAD with CAM close, which restrains the advance of the technology in the industry.Because of its good non-clogging capability and liquidity, Submarine sewage pump has been made good use in the environmental conservation industry. With the development of the environmental conservation industry, the amount of the requirement of the submarine sewage pump is increasing, which has been the new economy rising point in the pump industry.Based on the thing I have mentioned above, according to the character of the submarine sewage pump, the method how it is designed is given and some mathematical models are founded in this paper. Also, this paper discusses the way how to develop the submarine sewage pump CAD/CAM system on SolidWorks, the 3D entity modeling of the double channel impeller, the 3D parametric design of the body of pump and the foundation of some standard part library thoroughly and deeply. At the same time, on the CAM software integrated into SolidWorks, the computer dynamic simulation of the NC manufacture impeller process is performed.
