The Analysis Of Regional Feature In Landscape Architecture Language

Today, China is at this stage of accelerated period of urbanization. Due to the rapid development of economy, many challenges and opportunities are brought to the development of landscape architecture disciplines.All kinds of modern western practices and theories of designing are introduced to China. At the same time, in the background of integration and homogenization of global culture, landscape architecture design in China is gradually consistent with the modern Western design. The essence of this phenomenon is that Chinese national character and regional characteristic of the local community is gradually missing in designing works.Abundant natural resources and cultural heritages of outstanding landscape in China are valuable treasures of modern landscape architecture. They contain the idea of natural culture and the technique of reproducing the geographical landscape, which we should seriously study, draw on and integrate through practice. The keystone of Landscape Design is making full use of the natural landscape and cultural landscape resources, and reproducing the types of natural landscape and the cultural characteristics. Lucubrating the local conditions and creating a suitable type of landscape is the precondition of modern landscape architecture design and the key to reflect its geographical characteristics.This paper tries to analysis and research regional characteristic in landscape Design from the language point of view, as the basis of above researches, discuss the regional characteristics in practice of landscape garden. The kernel of the Study lies in elaborating the correlation between the language of landscape architecture and the regional characteristic, and the components system of regional characteristic of landscape architecture. The paper especially emphasizes the substantive impact of the humanities and nature in regional features. According to citing Landscape Designing works, the author considered and analyzed the contemporary landscape architecture practices from positive and negative direction. The author sums up: On one hand, when we engaged in the practice of landscape architecture, in addition to learning advanced designing ideology and theory, and renewing Chinese tradition of excellent history garden, we should also return to the essence of landscape architecture, which is the regional feature. We can find the language of design and creative inspiration; On the other hand, we face an excellent opportunity of developing Chinese landscape Garden subjects. Systematically summed up the design language will help design the development and expansion of thinking.
