Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) which is a new kind of structural material is based on the model of DSP. It has been widely used in the engineering practice at home and abroad. It has many characteristics, such as: high strength, toughness and low penetrability. In addition, it has upper ultimate tension strength and intenerating performance after peak value. These characteristics will influence the bond capability between concrete and steel. It is necessary to study the bond capability because the bond formula using in common concrete is not be applied to RPC.This paper based on the subtopic of the project of National Natural Science Foundation. The performance of distributing and the trend of changing for the bond stress between the steel and RPC are studied with the condition of the different load through the strain gauge embedded in the steel. The bond-slip properties between steel and RPC with different samples is established through analyzing the test data between the data of the free end and loading end and corresponding load. It is found that the ultimate bond stress will decline when the steel diameter and the length of embedding increase. Also, the mode of the loading and the kind of the steel can bring great influence with the ultimate bond stress.
