As a kind of new structural material, Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) has high mechanical property, durability and environment-protecting property compared with conventional concrete. To date, it is widely used in engineering practice at home and abroad. the weight of buildings is lightened, the span of structures is increased, the durability of structures is improved and the maintaining expense of structures is reduced by using RPC instead of conventional concrete. The compressive strength, bending strength and the resistance to chloride ion penetration of RPC under different curing regimes, blended with different mineral admixture, different aggregate, steel fibers with different aspect ratio are tested. A new mixture ratio of RPC is found with better environment-protecting property and Energy-saving property. The following conclusions can be drawn:1 .The strength of RPC blended with silica fume and slag powder in different proportion is tested, by keeping the water-cement ratio, and the optimum mixture ratio is identified.2. The effect of aspect ratio on RPC has been investigated, by changing the aspect ratio of steel fiber, and the most optimum aspect ratio of steel fiber is identified.3. Electrical conductivity of concrete under different curing regimes is tested by ASTMC1202, and the most optimum binder system is identified by comparing the experiment result.4. During the process of this testing program, the final electrical quantities are linearly dependent on electrical current in initial stage, therefore, initial current can instead of electrical quantities and become referenced index to evaluate the resistance to chloride ion of concrete under some conditions, but the sphere of application is not identified.5.The effect of different curing regimes on both strength and the resistance to chloride ion permeability is remarkable.6. For concrete containing mineral admixtures, the distribution of pore size and pore shape of concrete is improved, the risk of erosive ions' infiltration is reduced accordingly, and then both the resistance to chloride ion permeability and the strength are improved.
