Transfer system is an important subsystem of urban transit, the guarantee of urban transit priority, and the key to the integration, which is significant for the perfection of the city structure and rationalization of land use. Therefore, on the basis of analysis of urban transit system, the passenger travel behaviour in Beijing is analyzed, the path optimization model and evaluation of urban transit transfer system are studied. The main contents of this dissertation includes:1. Urban transit transfer system is analyzed, and transfer modes of urban transit between each other are studied.2. An investigation of the passenger travel behaviour in Beijing is studied, and factors affecting passengers choosing the path to travel are studied.3. Through analyzing many advantages and disadvantages of the least number of transfer times algorithm in transit network, the new algorithm based on the the least number of transfer times and minimum traffic impedance is designed, in which, transfer time, transfer stops and travel cost are taken into consideration. A numerical example is taken to validate the rationality and feasibility of the theoretics and methods mentioned above.Finally, evaluation index system of urban transit transfer system is established after the work has been done above, then the definition and calculation method of each index is explained. And the current synthetical evaluation methods are studied, then one evaluation method is put forward. In order to prove the rationality and feasibility of the index system and also the evaluation method, a case about evaluation of transfer system of Xizhimen area is studied at last.
