Landfill is the most important controlled method for municipal solid waste (MSW) disposal. The modern engineering of landfill is very complicate. Anti seepage project is the most important part and the most expensive part of landfill building. The anti seepage project is consisted of horizontal part and vertical part. Most landfills use the both methods nowadays. The horizontal anti seepage material is where the shoe pinches of landfill. The most suitable material of today is HDPE for its good anti seepage character. But the shortcoming of HDPE is also clearly. The intension strength is not strong. Griffith theory can describe the curse of original break of HDPE while J integral theory can describe the course of damage under asymmetry settlement through the research of yield and broken course of HDPE. The parameter system of these two theories is not complicate. The HDPE distortion after the building work completed is simulated through numerical method. The result shows that there is no distortion in the bottom of landfill, but there is intension distortion around the edge of landfill and this scene can be solved by setting more HDPE beforehand. The proportioning design is the most important thing of landfill vertical anti seepage project. Serious bleeding will exist when the ratio of water and cement is bigger than 1.4 while the intension strength of concrete is not strong enough when the content of bentoment is bigger than 70 percent from large numbers of experiments'results. The fluidity of blend composition increases with the ratio of water and cement, decreases with the content of bentoment. The compressive strength of concrete increases with the ratio of water and cement while decreases with the content of bentoment. The osmotic coefficient of concrete increases with the ratio of water and cement while decreases with the content of bentoment. The compressive strength of concrete is not affected much by the content of soil and additional dosage. The seepage of plasticity concrete anti seepage wall is simulated through numerical method and compared with that of clay anti seepage wall. The result shows that plasticity concrete anti seepage wall has much advantage.
