| The geomembrane has good capability for anti-seepage and adjusting to the foundation transform, what's more it is cheep and convenient for application, so it has been used more and more in the hydraulic engineering. But it also has some natures that are harmful to the projects. These ill natures hinder the application of geomembrane, especially in Karst region. Because of the special geologic structure of Karst region, conventional treatment for the seepage is expensive and the result is not perfect. So it is necessary to research the application of geomembrane in Karst region.To research a new method to cure the reservoir seepage in Karst region, according to "the research of reservoir anti-seepage method in Karst region", which was undertook by National Power Company's Kunming Investigation Design and Research institute, and the leakage mending and reinforcement project of Damaitian reservoir in Luo Ping county of Yunnan province, this paper presents the new method of using geomembrane to cure the reservoir seepage in Karstregion.By system test study and engineering practice from 2000 to 2003, the model number and specification of the geomembrane has been selected. And the rationality was proved further by a series of tests. To ensure the reliability of the geomembrane, the graduation of the bedding cushion material and buffer is determined. And meantime, by construct analog experiment, some technical matters were solved.Because of superiority of the anti-seepage, construction and invest, the application of the geomembrane will become a good method to cure the leakage of the similar project. It also has the value of popularize in large-sized projects. |
