Generally, the expected service life of the bridge is about 50 years to 100 years and the design service time in our country is 100 years. For a variety of reasons, some bridges need repair after 10 years to 20 years. So a priority research prestressing system's durability becomes significant.This paper mainly studies the prestressing system's durability of PC track beam in Chongqing monorail transportation system. Combining with climatic characteristics of Chongqing that the acid rain happens often, the corrosion cause of PC beam is analyzed first by carrying out the experiment in the lab and manufacturing a 20m beam. According to acid rain characteristic, a sulfuric acid rain pool is deployed to test the beam. Then the PC stranded steels, anchor system, grouting-material and grouting technology are comprarioned in the fabricating. Then the paper determines the factor affecting and brings forward corresponding measure that will improve the prestressing system durability.The theoretical value of inverted arch calculated by finite element method software ANSYS was contrasted to that took by the experiment. The end of the beam had been buried a sensor being used to measure the effective prestressing of the beam, with the sensor the datum are collected and the loss of prestressing is analyzed during the corrosion process.
