China is a populous nation that the resources are relatively deficient, the economic is relatively backward, and with the rapid development of economic, its natural environment tends to worse gradually, the bearing capacity of resources descends quickly. The construction is also a high energy consumption industry, which has very important influences for resources and environment and has a great significance to harmonize the development of entironment. So it is necessity and urgency that the construction should largely develop new type wall materials that are energy-saving, land-saving, the utilization of waste, good thermal insulation.Our country determined to prohibit 170 large and medium-size cities from using clay brick before June 30, 2003, to eliminate 20,000 clay solid brick enterprises during the Tenth Five Plan, which provided the turning point to the research and the development of new wall material, and also infused the new vigor into the development of the masonry structure. As one kind of energy-saving, land-saving, high strength and green new wall material, the concrete porous brick is one good substitute of the clay brick product, but the active standard and building code do not coverage it, which is still blank . Therefore, there are urgent realistic significance and social significance to research on the production, design and application of the concrete porous brick.First, this text summarized the current development, applications, tendency and existing problems of the wall material in the domestic and foreign development.Second, through the experimental studies on hole rate, compressive strength, bulk density, water-absorptivity, evaporation rate, freeze thawing of the concrete porous brick and so on to obtain all indexes; and then cross section of the concrete porous brick to be analyzed by MATLAB to get the correlational dependence on all indexes.Third, through mechanics performance test on the concrete porous brick masonry to study destruction characteristic and the destruction mechanism of each kind of type brick masonry, and to get mechanics indexes and corresponding influence factors such as shearing strength, bend tensile strength, compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, Poisson's ratio of masonries and so on. The research indicated that there are same and different performances characteristic between the concrete porous brick masonry and the clay brick masonry. By means of the regression analysis method, to obtain the modulus of elasticity and the Poisson's ratio suggestion formula of the concrete porous brick masonry in the article.At the same time, many factors were elaborated such as the production craft, raw material quality and the mixture ratio, the block body surface characteristic, the water-absorptivity, the mortar and its workability, full degree of mortar at bed joint, the construction technique, design of grooves and the hole rate and so on, which effect the physics performance of the concrete porous brick and the mechanics performance of the masonry.Fourth, seismic behavior of the concrete porous brick wall with the constructional column under low reversed cyclic loading were carried on the research.To study the destruction characteristic and the failure mechanism of the concrete porous brick wall with the constructional column and the mechanism to work together between constructional column and the wall, and elaborated the characters of the supporting capacity, consumes energy, the rigidity, the ductility, the constructional column steel bar of the wall with the changing load.At the same time, using ANSYS to carry on the simulation computation for the masonry axial resist compression, obtained the failure mechanism of axial compressive masonry, and analyzed the cause of non-linear of masonry. By means of the finite element assumptions of wall with the constructional column to carry on the simulation computation, to obtain failure mechanism and many beneficial conclusions of the wall under low reversed cyclic loading, the finite element simulation results are consistent with experimental results basically in this artical.The research results of this artical will provide a reference for formulation and revision of the relevant standards and project application.
