Horomill is a new kind of smashing equipment, which has the features of highly effective, energy conservation, low consumption, synthesis the energy conservation of roller press and the high grade merit of ball mill. Horomill realize "the powder is smashed many times when passed once", reduces the crushing stress in the course of smashing, improves operational performance of the equipment.Horomill is still at the trial-manufacture stage in domestic. There are some research about grinding principle, attrition principle, model of smashing process and so on in domestic and abroad. But it is in imitating design stage for the mechanical design of horomill, and people lack the understanding for the inner rule of horomill, they neglect the change of structure parameters as a result of change of the conditions. As the lack of intensity analysis and expiration analysis, horomill's roll break, the tube body dehiscence, So, this paper manly denotes the intensity analysis and the expiration forecast of the main parts of horomill.Take the horomill designed by Kehang Environment project technology limited company and School of Mechanical and Electronic Design of Wuhan University of Technology for example, this paper devotes as followed:First, the principle of work and main structure of horomill is introduced.Second, the strength calculation of mill roll is elaborated. The expiration phenomenon is forecasted in view of the service condition and the load of mill roll.Third, in view of the mill roll's bending moment is too high, its innovative structure (H-shaped mill roll) is introduced. The advantage of H-shaped mill roll is elaborated from the aspects of bending moment, the technology and finite element analysis.Forth, the working principle of slide shoes, the basic design of sliding tile, bearing capacity calculations of slide shoes, method of lubricants temperature calculation is introduced.Fifth, take horomill ofφ1.5m for example, the flexural intensity calculation and contact fatigue intensity calculation of gear is introduced, its failure phenomenon is forecasted.Sixth, the design method of horomill's basis is introduced too.The development of horomill fills the gap of domestic research, which has epoch-making significance for the grinding equipment's development to China. It has the significant theory instructive value and economic value to study the intensity analysis of horomill, which guarantee the safe handling of horomill.
