As a engineering technology, Industrial cleaning plays a more and more important role in industrial process. It not only supplies much efficient technical service to the society, but also becomes a symbol of social civilization. As the rapid development of modern industry, the application field of industrial cleaning booms widely. Plasma arc cleaning is a newly environmental technology in industrial cleaning field, it makes use of high energy density plasma arc to produce a series of physical and chemical actions on the pollutants, which is on the material surface, and therefore, pollutants are wiped off rapidly. Compared with traditional cleaning technology, plasma arc cleaning has some advantages such as doesn't use detergents and doesn't pollute environment, the wide range of removed contaminations and substrate materials, doesn't injure the surface of substrate materials and so on.On the background of development of plasma arc cleaning technology, this paper completed a plasma arc cleaning device system. In general, the research works of this paper include:1. The present conditions of cleaning technology are analyzed, plasma arc cleaning technology is studied intensively, the mechanisms of plasma arc cleaning technology are discussed. The quality of cleaning is determined by the quality of plasma arc, the effect factors on the plasma arc are analyzed.2. The process of plasma arc cleaning is analyzed, so the sequence diagram of cleaning process is designed; based on the sequence diagram of cleaning process, the plasma arc cleaning flow chart of automatic control is designed.3. Plasma arc cleaning technology is analyzed, the requirements of plasma arc cleaning are proposed. Based on the requirements, water cooling system, air-supply system, the high frequency arc start circuit and the arc signal processing circuit are designed.4. According to the technological process of plasma arc cleaning, the Siemens programmable logical controller S7-200 is used as the central component, the I/O ports of PLC is distributed specifically; the electric circuit diagram of the whole system is designed. In view of industry environment characteristics, the anti-interference measures are taken to PLC control system.5. PLC is programmed by using the software STEP7-MicroWIN V4.0 and the program is simulated by using the software Simulation 1.2, research on simulation of PLC control system is completed and the program is satisfied with the control requirements of the plasma arc cleaning.In summary, all the above work not only supports for the research on the plasma arc cleaning technology, but also lays a foundation for further research on the more optimal cleaning device.
