Simulation research on the methods of Real Time Dose Assessment (RTDA) for emergency of nuclear accident is conducted in this paper. Through studying the theory and process of dose assessment, RTDA simulation model of emergency phase is set. It's prepared for the on-line RTDA simulated system of nuclear accident in the future.Firstly, the basic theory of RTDA methods is studied. On the basis of atmospheric dispersion model that have already been set, RTDA simulation model is set. Projected dose and residual dose from the early three exposure pathways are calculated simulatively, which are the reference for emergency response choosing and performing. At last, potential health effect caused by the accident is estimated easily, and uncertainty analysis on the model and the results are made.In the model, radioactivity matter's dispersion in the atmosphere can be described in the case of steady weather condition. Dose level and dose distribution of emergency exposed areas can be estimated fleetly, and response of accident can be made immediately. It also can provide a series of efficiency and proper mitigative actions, analysis on the accident consequence, and technic support for decision on NPP accident emergency.
