| With the development of the wire net, the departments of powers system design and operation have to gather, store, analyze and rapidly process the extremely huge and miscellaneous information. Nevertheless, the old power system can hardly satisfy the needs of power supply construction and operation. Consequently, to reasonably plan the modification and construction of the wire net, to enhance the quality of the power as well as the safety of the power supply, to reduce the cost, to improve the operation of the power equipment, we need to manage the wire net by using modern computers and GIS information technology. In this way, all the figures, maps and data will be shared. The geographical information system in power supply involves many parts. With the increase in the scale of software and the growing complication of their function, the time circle of software programming becomes longer and it is much more difficult to maintain the software. Besides, we will be destined to face higher risk in updating their old function. However, package technology forms one of the most efficient answers to the problems we have just mentioned above. Being piece in the form of the binary scale, a component can interact with those from other software providers. When designing the software, basing on the Object-Oriented idea, we can divide it into independent components and then realize them respectively. Finally, we can organize the components to get the software we want. The distribution GIS that this thesis talks about is based on the technological development of the components. We will discuss in detail the design and realization of the distribution GIS. There, some very important concepts and technologies that the system involves will be introduced, but we will focus on the overall design of the system, the database design and the component design. Then we will tell about the analysis and management of the system, mainly about the location of distribution network breakdown and the reconstruction of breakdown network. Then, we will present an instance about the modeling system of wire netting, which is based on component technology. The summary and expansion will be given in the final section. |
