Landscape Pattern And Application Of A Compact Community In New Villages Of Jiang-Huai Area

After a thorough study on both new village construction of Jianghuai region and the theories and means of village landscape programming, the author is trying to find out a solution to protect the integrality and local cultural characteristics of the landscape of Compact Village Community (CVC) to explore the economic value of the landscape resources of CVC, to improve and restore its favorable environment, to construct nice living, manufacturing, zoological environment, to promote the consistent and harmonious development of its society, economy and environment, and the author hopes that the landscape of CVC can be maintained and village living quality can be improved simultaneously during the process of socialistic new village construction. Meanwhile, the author has also introduced the development history of the landscape of CVC at home and abroad, described the content and characteristics of village landscape programming, briefly analyzed the basic research and development trend of village landscape programming in China, and concluded that we should consummate the systematic theories and continue to discuss on methodology, and build up Jianghuai region as a model to do further researches and practices, and emphasize future work on this.
