As a new manufacture method, Virtual Manufacture Technology plays more andmore important part in Manufacture field. Using Manufacture Technology combiningwith CAD/CAM in mechanical analysis and application can detect product defectahead of time, optimize the design of product, improve the precision of product,shorten the periods of product's development and reduce the cost of product'sresearch with Manufacture Technology's characters which are immersion, interactionand imagination. Thus, Virtual Manufacture Technology resolves the problem ofmodern manufacture corporations as TQCS(T-Time to market, Q-Quality, C-Cost,S-Service) to a great extent.This dissertation applies the Virtual Manufacture technology into designing theAutomobile's Pressing Line, which truly reflects actual conditions in the productionline such as the operation of every machine, the motion of the workpiece, and recurthe workshop locale, consequently provide a convenient and quick platform and adirect and vivid way to technical intercommunion that can provide technical andeconomical analyses to technical emendation for enterprises as well as solve someactual problems in the product line. The dissertation also researches Virtual Realitytechnology to set up virtual reality system for Automobile's Pressing Line.The dissertation is composed of four parts mainly which is based on the researchof the Automobile's Pressing Line based on the Sino-German cooperative project of"Digital Factory".(1) Research the Modeling technique of the CAD/CAM to model Pressing Line'smachine, use parameter modeling method to design a series of parts which have thesame characteristic but different dimension, and introduce two kinds of parametermodeling methods as table designing method and dynamic building method for part.(2) Research the Virtual Assembly technique for Pressing Line, use two kinds ofassembly methods as Top-to-Down and Down-to-Top to design the product forPressing Line, introduce "One-Level" assembly method which means that there is only one floor between root and children parts and products, put forward two rootproducts according "One-Level" assembly method as press product for fixing modeland Pressing Line product.(3) Research Digital Mock-Up (DMU) technique for Pressing Line, apply DMUon two simulations as fixing model for press and machining process of Pressing Line,check whether intervening while machining or having some wrong routes which isn'tfit for actual machining, optimize simulation if there are some wrong problems.(4) Research Virtual Reality technique for Pressing Line, use data conversiontechnique to convert model data from CATIA to EON Profession software, set upVirtual Reality environment for Pressing Line using software and some hardwareequipment.
