With the rapid development of global economy, each country makes great strides forward to be urbanized. The fast development of the urbanization and mechanization has become two primary problems to urban city. So how to determine the direction and the pattern of the municipal transportation, will affect the city developmental strategy greatly. Cities and economy development is directly related to that urban road system layout is reasonable or not,. Therefore, the accurate analysis of urban road transportation condition and the reasonable plan of urban road transportation system will directly affect the urban road transportation system and guarantee the development of the city and economy.This paper mainly focus on how to plan and consummate the transportation system of an area thoroughly. Through seeking the theory of the consummation and the optimization of transportation system, and combining with the present situation and the existent question of local transportation, this paper proposes corresponding measures to solve local transportation problems.The content of this paper mainly include: at first, the importance of optimizing the nodes and traffic analysis is discussed, and the significance of the Hong'ensi region traffic analysis and optimization of nodes is analyzed. Secondly, the various theories of the traffic analysis and nodes optimization is explored, including the four-stage method, the stock control method, traffic location method, as well as how to improve the line type of road approach, broaden the intersection, channelize the traffic structure, and improve traffic control. Thirdly, the traffic situation of recent and long-term traffic flow in Hong'ensi district is researched, and road network planning and design is proposed. Then on one hand, integrating with land use, housing relocation, project cost and other factors, this paper addresses the optimal design of internal roads of this district, including an in-depth optimization and design analysis about the entrances and exits of the entire park, the road interface, the internal roads and intersections. On the other hand, with the optimal design of external road nodes of the district, integrating the research on the external topography and physiognomy and traffic planning conditions, thorough optimization and design analysis about the east and south traffic nodes, which is the main import and export of Hong'ensi district, is analyzed. After completion of the above work, this paper summarizes the common problems of urban road design in mountain terrain, advances the corresponding solutions. Finally, basing on the outcome of this paper, the relating research direction is bring forward.
