Research On After-Project Comment Of Construction Projects In Historic Conservation District Of Tongli (1998-2006)

A series of construction projects have been carried out in the conservation districtof Tongli historical town from 1998 to 2006. Great changes have taken place in spacecharacters around the town. On the whole, the construction projects promoted thedevelopment of tourism and the growth of residents' income, and the local society andeconomy also benifited from it. But with the rapidly changeing of outsideenvirionment and government ideas, the backgroud of project decision-making,goal-setting and model of operation varied from each other, while the effect also showgreat differce.Focus on the construct projects and began with the analyses of the characters ofconstruction project and project implementation. On this basis, after-project commenttheory was introduced in the evaluation of some typical cases, based on the effectivematerials from survey and interview, conclusion was given to each cases.Target with the deviation of goal, effect and social influence, the resons wasclassified to inevitable factor, special factor of conservation district and improvablefactor. At last, the possibility of using of catalyst theory in the conservation districtwas argued.
