Research And Implementation Of Aircraft Design Change Management Based On TCEng

Design change of product is an important activity which runs through the whole product lifecycle of producing and managing activities in manufacture enterprises. Due to the complexity of product structure and developing flow of aircraft, design change takes place unavoidably in its design process, which is a very important and complicated work. Consequently, design change management of aircraft product is deeply researched in this paper on Teamcenter Engineering, associating with PDM implementation and actual requirement of a large national aviation corporation. The main achievements are as follows:1) The aircraft design change management configuration based on PDM is built, which contains the model frame of design change management based on PDM and the flow of design change management based on CMII criterion.2) The modeling method of data organization model focusing on change order for design change is proposed. The method organizes design change information organically through change order. The version management of changed objects and effective sortie setup of design data change are researched to ensure integrality, consistency and trackability of product data.3) The method of analyzing influence scope and tracing in design change are researched. The technologies such as computerized signature of documents are fulfilled, based on which normative aircraft design change approval process is built to deal with the information associated with processing, so that technologist and designer can work concurrently in design stage to avoid repeated work.4) The aircraft design change management system is developed based on above research, which has been applied in the aircraft design process of a large aviation corporation and achieves favorable results.
