Research About Network Techology Of Student Apartments

This paper mainly directed at the current development trend of student dormitories. The concept of intelligent building apartment will be introduced to the development of student apartments. It puts the BAS overall structure of the student apartments, and provided a detailed description of all the basic functions of controller. It obtains the design of the integrative controller in the dormitory. It drafts a RS-485 communication protocol. It prepares the serial communication procedures and designs the demonstration system. The main contents of the paper are as follows:1, BAS overall structure of the student apartmentsBAS system contains the building computers, six controllers with different functions and on-site detection and enforcement components. The building computer is the management floor of the BAS system. The building computers link each controller with RS-485. Each student apartment equipped with a building computer. Each building computer links the control center with network to achieve the BAS network.2, The design of the integrative controller in the dormitoryThe integrative controller in the dormitory has the distribution, fire, security and other functions. It receives the signal coming from the on-site detection and enforcement components and communicates with the building computer using RS-485 data bus. The on-site detection and enforcement components send data to the building computer, and receive the control order from the building computer. The integrative controller in the dormitory is in the kernel of 80C196KC SCM. It contains the least system of SCM, the interface circuit of detecting signal, the interface circuit of controlling signal, and the design of 485 communication interface circuit.3, RS-485 communication protocolThis protocol provides the data transmission format, transmission rules, data link symbol, frame format, function codes, error handling and so on. Data Format: A starting place, eight data spaces, a parity spaces and a stopping place4, The design of serial communication software and demonstration systemThe serial communication software between the building computer and various DDC controller contains the building computer communication procedures preparing by C and the DDC controller Communication Firmware preparing by VC++6.0.The network between the building computer and control center use the WinSocket.
