With the development of our national economy, water is in great demand. The transmission project with long distance was on the increase in the city, because both quantity and quality of nearby water source can not provide enough water for people in many cities, so we had to look for new water sources from other drainage area. The rate of conduit crack accident is high and the impact covers a wide field, because there was so many defects such as big caliber and pipeline pressure, rough pipeline with inverted siphon, old pipe network system in many cities and destructive behavior of human being. Once the pipe break accident happened, it not only flooded farm land, destroyed the installation of road, caused to the stop of water supply with wide scope and so on, but also wasted fare and time in repairing. Low water supply pressure would directly influence the normal water supply to industries and residents in the city when repaired the pipe network, and a large quantity of water would be wasted, meanwhile, the accident may lead to low water quality in some pipeline. If we didn't quickly control that, the contaminated water area would be extend by transporting in pipeline, finally there may arises bloodsucker disease with large-scale, it's a great threaten to the water-supply' s safe and well service of pipe net work. It's an important task of studying the reason of conduct crack, looking for main factor which is caused the accident and its interaction and the preventable measure, looking for economic and effective strategy for improving the pipeline.The paper discussed the physics-analytical method, descriptive statistical analytical method, and prognosticated analytical method with conduit crack accident, introduced it's time index model, Logistic regressive model, living-analysis model, fraction model, Bayesian model and computer software about prognostication of conduit crack, and there was some pilot study about conduit crack accident's character, reason, influence factor, prevention and cure strategy and repaired method. For seeking the reason of Three times pipe break accidents of Fengjiashan Reservoir diversion works,, many supervises and experiments with it were made out, detailed analyzes and compute from design, construction, supervise, test run, material of conduit were done, and hydraulics experiment were done. Finally, it was concluded that the inferior material of conduit was responsible for the accident conduit crack accident.This study had significant effect in preventing accident and fastening safety factor in pipe net work system. It provided credible data for the management, maintenance, renewal, and provided huge social, environment and economic benefit for our country.
