The Research On The Urban-design Method That Leaded By The Natural Factors

At present, most cities in China, the scale and speed of construction is in an unprecedented situation, while the whole construction tendency is transiting from the crude mode that pursuit"absolute number"to the fine-mode that pursuit the quality of environment and landscape. As the theory and the tool which focus to the space category in the urban planning and development, the urban design stands on the most front in this transformation incumbently, so, it has the practical significance and the urgent need to research on it's values and design methodology.The article focuses on discussing the urban design methodology. It tries to the traditional methods which lie on the esthetics shape, through importing the systematic viewpoint, make up the design logic that act on the concrete spatial shape finally through depending on controlling the intrinsic organization mechanism and the space construction of system, so as to pursuit the amalgamation between the internal rationality and the exterior aesthetics.The article chooses the natural element of city as the object discussed: one kind of the fundamental element which needs to face in each design. It discusses the necessity that make the natural element as the core system of spatial structure-- the value of natural element systematization, also discusses how to abstract, generalize and make up the leading system of special construction, then, it tries to research the practical methods how to lead the others to make up the exterior shape.The article defers to a lengthways logic that from asking problem→analyzing problem→constructing the core methodology→design research, and includes the three aspects following:The first, analyzing the value of natural element and the urban design methods at present. The former wants to prove the justice of the method's value leading by nature—This is the precondition of discussion; The latter wants to the emphasis and ways of design methodology lying on the natural view—This is the foundation of research.The second, importing the method and research on the process. The former, through importing the systematic viewpoint into design, constructs the method's concept which leading by natural element. Aim at the result, generates the advantages of method at the sustainable value, system connection, logical process , suits for the fast construction and so on—This is concept building ;The latter, leaded by the systematic principle, analyzes and neatens the design process in detail , that form constructing the lead natural system to integrating the land system and road system, until making the special shape perfect—This is the running frame of method. The two aspects make up the core of methodology.The third section is about design discussion. It proceeds depending on"streams, mountains, fields, trees"the four natural elements that usually saw in the urban design, and wants to put the methodology into the practices, thus, let the design method's discussion to be an open and intuitional effect basing on design cases.
