Tire pressure is the important factor that affecting the safety and performance of the automobile. When the automobile is driving at high speed, tire pressure abnormalities can easily lead to tire burst, the hidden dangers of the automobile may cause the accidents. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) can monitor the tire pressure real-timely and automatic alarm when the tire becomes abnormal. It can help the drivers discover the anomalies immediately so that they can fix it. TPMS is a pre-warning system to keep the driving safety.TPMS consists of two parts: the tire module that is installed inside in each automobile tire and the monitor module in the cab. The tire module measures the pressure and temperature data and the detecting data will be sent to the monitor module through wireless communication, the monitor module will display the received data and report abnormal situation.The paper researched on the realization of power-supply and the one-way transmission TPMS .Taking the low cost, low power consumption and high reliably as the main goal, the paper designed a TPMS experiment prototype and discussed the parts of the system hardware and software design with the instruction of the basic principles and the design methods.The tire module is an extremely sensitive equipment on power consumption.The paper forcus on the data collection and the transmit algorithm of the tire module to reduce the tire module's power consumption without affecting the system's reliability. Considering that the tire's pressure and the temperature may not change or change very small in long time, the paper proposed a long-small frame transmit algorithm.When the parameter of the tire module is changing very small, the tire module transimits a small frame that not including the temperature and pressure to reduce the frame's length and the transmit power consumption. The collision that caused by the tramsmission of several tire modules derived the relationship between the transmission repeat times and random delay in the"random delay and transmit repeat"method. The paper proposed the principles and methods to confirm the reasonable scope of random delay and the repeat times, so that the tire module's power consumption is as possible as small without affecting the anti-collision's reliability.The paper used the theoretical method to calculate the consumption of the tire module and the life of battery. The paper introduced the experiment prototype's debugging process and gived the testing results.
