This thesis mainly discusses the dynamic energy consumption for residential building in the strict and cold regions, giving a model of one residential building in Urumqi region by the building environment design simulation software DeST . The variety of season is obvious in Urumqi region. And the difference between the temperature of morning and the temperature of night is great. The characteristic of climate is a type of the strict and cold regions. In consideration of the current situation of residential buildings in Urumqi region, the paper sets up a suit of computation input parameter for Urumqi region.This paper presents a analysis of dynamic simulation at a variety of conditions by software DeST .Presents if we use the thermal insulation measure in the building, door thermal environment will improve and building energy consumption will grow gradually less.This article simulates the building energy consumption and natural room temperature of residential buildings of different orientations and shape factors. Raises buildings in Urumqi region should adapt south-north orientation or close to south-north orientation.In summer daytime the temperature gets very high and in the evenings the temperature gets very high low in Urumqi. The difference between the temperature of morning and the temperature of night is great. If make fully use of fresh air of low temperature in the open air to ventilate room, we will improve indoor air quality and reduce the room temperature. By using the simulation analysis software DeST , the room temperature changer of a residential building in Urumchi under three different night ventilation modes are simulated, and the influences of natural ventilation to room temperature are analyzed. Meanwhile, the article also indicates that the indoor thermal environment of window closing daytime and window-opening ventilation nighttime is more suitable for people's living, not only satisfying the requirements for comfort, but also eliminating the need for air conditioning in summer and saving energy.Finally, the paper simulates the pyrological speciality of interim heating in residential buildings.
