Now in china industrial design education has many deferent characters from other kinds of education during the past 30 years. First it goes beyond Chinese society because this knowledge was introduced to inland without domestic full-blown industrial design development. Secondly, design schools have to go forward gropingly at practice without domestically integrated education theoretics, so, it cause many problems such as imbalance, breaking away from control, etc. All those make industrial design education out of joint with our environment.For the sake of adapting society and improving education, new industrial design education theory must be presented, therefore this thesis bring a topic of application of thinking science in industrial design teaching.The thesis provide a new angel of view that look industrial design education as a integrated subject based on thinking science, composed of Education, Psychology, Aesthetics and Creation, etc. And it researches the rule of design education by means of frame of reference.At first the thesis has explained the relevant concept of thinking science, analysed the relation and characters of design and thinking. Next, it discusses three main parts of design thinking: curious thinking, aesthetic thinking and creative thinking, and thinking framework of design education.As we know, ability is a represent of thinking, society needs competent designer, so it put emphasis on how to train design ideation in the chapter 3. Here I do much work on longtime teaching and continual inquisition. Also I get various designs thinking mode in the chapter 4 by way of the experimentation that subject design of induction cooker. Through those teaching cases, I finish the frame of my theory based on thinking science.The thesis gives another new direction of education namely industrial design education in a creative way, and its mission is integrated diversified teaching experience and methods; study the essential thinking which coagulated in process of teaching, students and designers in enterprise.At last, the thesis analysed and summarized about the whole thesis, a Training Thinking Course is introduced into school room, and it supposes and expands the significant of this theory if we use it in our design teaching.
