With the rapid development of the automobile industry,the amount of vechicles people own increase continuously.Safe driving becomes a serious problem.timing diagnosis becomes a nessisary method to assue the safe traffic.Brake performance is a important aspect of the vechicle safety performance.so research and produce high accuracy,high automatic vechicle brake performance system has important significance. Mechanical part design mainly pursue simple,economic,practice. there are two senario to select.one is the rolling wheel movement.slot steel limit the location where brake slab want to hold.another method is ball rolling.We select the second one.slidding slab we select is the cooperation of V guide and horizontal guide .simple lever mechanism drag sensor.giving up complex lever system and rolling wheels sildding.Although rolling drum brake syetem has more applications in our country.and people pay more attention to this style of tester.this kind of tester the flat slab system is fit for moving diagnosis.together with comprehensive functions,It can detect sliding and weight parameters. So GB7258-2004 have a clear regulation that the FD vechicles whose passenger number under 9 is fit for flat slab brake tester. When the wheels are locked,the detecting cann't reach the standard, At the same time, the driver suspects the testing result.the vechicle should be tested by the flat slab tester. Vehicles that can not be detected on the rolling drum tester (such as 4- wheel instant driving cars)should be detected on the flat slab.In the period of tester active condition's hard ware design and research,fully think about every aspects'effect.about select sensors,we select high accuracy sensor,at the same time we think about safe factor efficiently to assure the results'accuracy.in this system we use V/I to commit the signal having high antijamming ability,to assure the signal's correction.for measuring easily,the sigal is translated into voltage sigal,I/V is finished by accurate resistance.for data collecting system's concret design problem that collect A/D and photoelectricity isolation digital coming into one.we select A/D1674.We adopt photoelectricity isolation method in the part of digital capacity entering.hardware's function comes into reality by software.Software system design is based on Windows 98.we adopt VB6.0.this thesis draw software system's function frame chart, describe all modules'functions. Give the main-controlling programme flow chart.the signals that hardware system sends into computer have system error and random error inevitablely, so soft ware system must have data processing to improve system's reliability. We adopt unitary linear return to deal with system demarcate module's data. we adopt the compounding filtering method that incorporate slidding median filtering and weighting average filtering to deal with the collecting data that detecting module get.software system's functional modules can monitoring automobiles'brake performance.get detecting results to evaluate vehicles's brake performance. At last Through experiments verify the results'correction.
