The boltless baffle structure has certain advantage because it can overcome much drawback of the traditional blade baffle structure. It is one of the developing directions of the turbine structural design.According to the deformation coordination relationship between the boltless baffle and the turbine disc, the method for calculating the contact pressure between boltless baffle and turbine disc was concluded by means of finite element analysis, and the facts which affect the contact pressure were found. A series of local dimensions of boltless baffle were changed to calculate the stress and displacement of baffle under the work statement with different dimensions, so the important dimensions were confirmed and they could provide reference for designing the boltless baffle. Visual Basic and APDL language were used to develop ANSYS and the parametric test proceed of boltless baffle was realized. Visual Basic language was also used to develop Auto CAD so that the blueprint of boltless baffle can be printed automatic. The application of parametric design technology will improve the speed of designing boltless baffle structure. The boltless baffle structure was optimized by means of first-order method in ANSYS, and the weight of the boltless baffle was reduced by thirty percent. Finally, a program for optimizing the boltless baffle structure was compiled, which could make the optimizing process more flexible. The calculation in this paper was proved to be available and believable by means of contrasting the stresses which were separately acquired by calculation and experiment.The calculation and analysis in this paper were primary research on the boltless baffle structure and it could provide useful reference for the boltless baffle design technology.
