China has become the biggest battery producing and consuming country now. The battery industry is developing fast in recent years and many new high-energy batteries are invented. Compared with Europe, U.S. and Japan, the technology level of Chinese battery industry is very low. So it is of great significance to develop the automatic producing equipments of battery. Based on the mass customization, modular design and virtual design technology, a new pattern for the Li/MnO2 battery design is put forward and has gotten satisfactory effects and attained expected objective.In view of the ever-changing and increasingly fierce market competition, the idea of mass customization is introduced in the design. The whole design is under the principle of low-cost, high-speed, high-quality and customization. In the initial phase of concept design, the theory of QFD (Quality Function Deployment) is used to decompose the function of the system. House of quality composed of technical measures and functions, house of quality composed of functions and structures are respectively built. Then many designs are mentioned, and they are judged by means of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The best design is obtained at last.In the detail design phase, modularization design and virtual design technology are used in order. The system is decomposed into several small functional modules according to function analysis. After the 3D models of these modules are produced by the software Pro/Engineer, a virtual prototype is obtained by means of virtual assembly. The hardware & software design of the control system is elaborated in the final part of the thesis.The method of design presented in this thesis is deduced from the experience of multi-parameter design, and is a scientific design method of mechanical electronic system. The thesis opines that this method generally fits for the design and research of other automatic manufacture system and has better extensibility.
