| It becomes more and more important that how to control transport system with developing of the modernization society. Intelligence Transport System (ITS) can improve traffic efficiency greatly as it uses Information Technology, Communication Technology and Control Technology, and it has become one of the best methods which is used to solve the Traffic jam very efficiently and economically.This paper takes control of the urban region traffic as its research object, on basis of the basic traffic theory, combined with the appliance of the MCU technology, and the Intelligence Traffic Sign Control System was analyzed and studied. In allusion to the problems in the traffic control system now, on base of the research of the single-crossing fuzzy control, this paper lays stress on the analysis of the correlativity belongs to the double-crossing, and has researched the urban region traffic control system which is based on the phase order fuzzy control. Traffic flow module needn't be established in this method, the complex and random difficulty problem of traffic sign control procedure can be efficiency solved.In this paper, we introduce some basic functions of the signal control machine, and introduce the intelligent traffic control system, whose'control kernel, composed as the MCU C8051F020, and which DS12C887,TC35i, AT89S52 are the expanded chips. The hardware design and software analysis are also provided. This system adopts the modularized design method, and it is conveniently that to reduce or add the function.It adopts the SMS wireless of GSM which have the characteristics of wide scope, easy implement method and vivid control mode. The system can control the signal lamp easily and effectually, and it is meaningful to increase the traffic capability and to reduce the traffic accident.
