| Energy efficiency of building is the developing direction of building industry, and is a long-term and insistent work. At present, demonstration projects of energy efficiency of building are developed in whole country, of which the intention is to spread the achievement and develop energy efficiency in China. However, because of the variety of building materials, some building materials is used blindly and excessively to meet the standard of energy efficiency. As a result, a mass of resource has been wasted and the development of energy efficiency is limited. Therefore, how to make use of present materials and bring them into play to meet the requirement of energy efficiency standard is a desiderated question to study.Through the investigation on the building envelope and materials of different climate area, this paper selected some common wall materials and thermal insulation materials as study objects. According to the climate character and building energy consumption of different area, and combined with the design standard of energy efficiency, this paper designed and analyzed on energy efficiency for different envelop system to optimize the materials. Finally, by used eQuest software and considered the all-year heating and cooling, evaluated energy consumption of building in all year. As the standard of energy efficiency was met, analyzed the impact of energy efficiency on different wall materials and envelope systems. The result indicated that, reasonably selecting the applicable wall materials and envelope systems according to the local energy consumption characteristic could optimize resource utilization and have a good effect on energy efficiency. Furthermore, this paper analyzed the design standard of energy efficiency of different climate area and researched by eQuest software of energy consumption simulation.Through the design on energy efficiency and energy consumption simulation, the applicability to different climate of wall materials was analyzed and compared. The result indicated that, the wall materials with good thermal preservation is applicable in cold region mainly to heating; in hot summer and cold winter region, the thermal preservation and insulation performance of wall materials should be considered synthetically to minimize the annual energy consumption including heating and cooling of building; in hot summer and warm winter region, the influence of thermal performance of exterior wall on building cooling loads is slight and the effect of energy efficiency is inconspicuous. |
