The quality of outdoor environment of residential quarter directly affects the living qualityand city environment of residents; it also reflects the developmental levels of social politics,economy, culture, science and technology of the city, even the whole country, in differentphases. At present, our environment is seriously contaminated, and human health is severelythreatened. Under these circumstances, on the basis of the researches on the outdoorenvironment structure of ecological healthy residential quarter, the thesis tries to help peoplehave a complete understanding of ecological healthy residential quarter, know the connotationof ecological healthy design and improve the resident's realization of environmental protection.Based on the researches on evaluation index of the outdoor environment of ecological healthyresidential quarter, this thesis will establish the scientific evaluation system about the outdoorenvironment of ecological healthy residential quarter, and then set up the administrativeregulations in order to provide a scientific basis for the environmental management of theresidential quarter and for the comprehensive management of the living environment.In recent years, people's awareness and their demands on the living environment areincreasing constantly. About the quality of the living environment, people have transformedtheir attentions from indoor only to the high quality of the outdoor environment of theresidential quarter to meet their needs on the ecological healthy living environment. This thesishas collected lots of the research materials from both domestic and abroad, and then analyzedthe theories on ecology, health and the sustainable development of the living environment.Through the combination of macro and micro studies, the thesis analyzes and illustrates thetheory of outdoor environment structure of residential quarter completely. Through theresearches on their demand on outdoor environment of the residential quarter, it emphasizes onthe concepts of human-oriented and sustainable development, as well as the important thoughton the construction of harmonious society. The thesis also establishes the scientific evaluationindex system on environmental quality of the ecological healthy residential quarter by doingthe researches qualitatively and quantitatively. With the investigations and the analyses onYuanda Urban Oasis residential quarter in Harbin, the thesis proposes the design theory on theecological health of the residential quarter, and provides some measures about how to solve thepresent typical problems, which means it provides references and manipulable methods formost residents to enjoy the real healthy living environment.
