Energy and environment have become sharp issue of the world. With the number of motor vehicles increasing and motorcycles market accessing for the implementation, motorcycle emission and energy-efficient as signs of motorcycles'performance, therefore whole vehicles performance test of motorcycles have become a checkpoint before it will be put in the market. Chassis dynamometer, a test equipment without disassembly, adopt technical of modern electrical measurement and computer to simulate all the driving resistance so that the motorcycle road test items and exhaust emissions measurement of motorcycle can be tested indoor. It can not only improve the pilot's test environment and also increase test precision.In this paper, establish dynamical model of chassis dynamometer and analysis chassis dynamometer road resistance simulated loading principle by studying former effort. The intelligent system based on fuzzy control and general PID was designed for simulation of loading resistance. Combine fuzzy control with general PID ,though fuzzy control to improve the system speed and reduce the overshoot, though PID to reduce the steady error of the system.Software follows the design principle of low poly high coupling. Measure & Control system platform is designed based on GUI advanced programming tools-NI LabVIEW. The sub-modules was developed aiming at dynamometer objects, and they can be easily transplanted into other areas. Control sub-module design with MATLAB software. Incremental PID controller and fuzzy control module were designed to adjust input voltage of transducer which control the dynamometer speed and torque output to simulate resistance and achieve load control. Data acquisition and processing output sub-module adopt cost-effective and practical sampling intervals acquisition and least-squares method of data processing algorithms. The use of ADO interface to the SQL Server database visits ways to facilitate the management of the database, call and check. Meanwhile, according to Motorcycle Performance Test standards, Motorcycle Performance testing sub-module is design to complete chassis dynamometer performance testing platform.LabVIEW-based motorcycle chassis dynamometer beautiful interface, strong dialogue, convenient operation, complete real-time monitoring system, show engine performance parameters, and to automatically correct test data to standard conditions, and be able to embark on a standard format and automatically print out test data and performance curve fitting. Test results show that the control system can meet the very good performance motorcycle test requirements, the accuracy exceed state standards.At present, the design was a set of performance test monitoring system for motorcycle test. Network database interface was reserved for the convenience of setting up monitoring platform which was based on network. This system can be widely used in cars, motorcycles and drive testing industry after further improvement; it has great significance for the automatic monitoring dynamometer.
