| Deep embedded large diameter thin shell cylinder can be drive into the soil as quay-wall structure without excavation of foundation trench or other special soil consolidation for its foundation. It can keep to be stable after driving into the soil, due to the interaction between cylinder wall and foundation soil. So this kind of structure will be better than other quay-wall structures in some special soil conditions because of its advantage of low cost and short construction period.Based on the design work of revetment in Puzhou, Panyu city of Guangdong province, the main design theories and methods of quay-wall structure with deep embedded large diameter thin shell cylinder were discussed and concluded in this thesis, which mainly includes of the analysis and selection of soil layer parameters, study of stable analysis models, structure stress analysis model and consolidation way of soil layers under the cylinder.The practical engineering proves that deep embedded large diameter thin shell cylinder is a new hydraulic structure style with good development foreground. The main design theories and methods mentioned in this thesis will give a guideline for the construction of similar projects and more practice of this kind of structure. |
