When faceing the increasing engery crisis and pollution, the people more and more emphasis the protecting environment. With increasingly strict emission regulation and development of electronic controlled diesel-fuel injection technology, high pressure common rail (CR) engines have become the trend of vehicle diesel engines. while confirming to the stringent exhaust emission standards. In this paper, firstly ECM hardware of diesel engine, especially engine and CR, are analyzed on the basis of the principle, history and trend of electronically controlled system of diesel engine and with combine that the injection theory of diesel engine and singlechip, Secondly based on diesel engine combustion characteristic the proper control strategies have been brought forward,With the running conditions divided properly, different control strategy for each control parameter, including injection quantity, injection timing and common rail pressure, for different running condition have been obtained. On the basis of the control theory, singlechip, the strategy of injection quantity, timing and pressure come into being after bottom program has been studies deeply. Injection quantity and rail pressure come ture by using PID of closed loop, and injection timing is realized by compulating pre-angle of injection via MAP of injection timing. At last with singlechip of C8051F040 the ECM developed to gain the hardware and soltware design of ECM, the test results verify the precision, feasibility and reliability of speed control software design.Through the research of engine CR injection system, it will improve the huge potential performance. The target of this articles is accumulating materials for the later work in the future.
