Diesel engine high-pressure common rail fuel injection system is the advanced fuel injection device of the diesel engine, and it is the mainstream of the 21st century efficient, green, clean diesel fuel system. It can realize more than once injections including pilot injection, main injection and post injection, So that it is a highly flexible control fuel injection system. The high-pressure common rail injection system has become a trend of vehicle diesel engines. Research on software design of diesel engine electronic controlled high-pressure common rail fuel injection system is an significance on improving the independent research and development of China's own auto industry.Based on domestic and foreign mass relating literatures, this article mainly introduces the high-pressure common rail fuel injection system, such as its rise, development, characteristics, advantages and foreign research and development trend. Next this article introduces the software architecture design of high- pressure common rail ECU, this control strategy adopts the Multiple-working conditions control mode based on torque, and the every module's control strategy was particularly designed. At last the software design of fuel system was finished, as well as experiment on test bed.The software architecture design of fuel system ECU was defined. The software design includes the purpose of the design, and how the software was designed. Software architecture design is a very important guiding significance for constituting the control strategy of high-pressure common-rail fuel injection system.In the ECU software development, the sub-system of high-pressure common rail fuel injection was further defined. The model including torque/quantity conversion, injection co-ordination, the control of pilot injection 1, pilot injection 2, pilot injection 3,main injection, post injection 1, post injection 2 and injection release was detailed analyzed.In the fuel system, this article mainly detailed analyzed the model of the high-pressure common rail fuel injection. The model includes injection co-ordination, pilot injection,main injection,post injection, and so on. This control strategy adopts the Multiple-working conditions control mode based on torque. And completed the control strategy of each module, Which guides the code of the corresponding application layer. Experiments on test bed achieved a maximum of two injections per cylinder and working cycle. " Pilot injection 3+main injection " combination model was adapted. It achieved two injections co-ordination, as well as the control of injection quantity and start of energizing.
