In our country, Steel Tube-Confined Concret (STCC) arch bridges have become a new technology of the bridge construction in recent years. It has the merits of light deadweight, great strength and strong distortion-resistant capacity. It can preferably satisfy requirements such as the materials for construction are saving, erection weight is light, the construction is simple, and bearing capacity is great. It is a kind of more ideal structure form for long-span arch bridges.The researches and applications about STCC structure have been taken about one hundred years in the world. But in China the researches have been taken since 1950s. Since 1990s, as a new-style combined material with favorable mechanical behaviour fit for arch bridges, STCC has been getting broad application and rapid development. The research in this thesis is concentrated on the mixture proportion and construction technology of the STCC of STCC long-span arch bridges. The main contents are summarized as follow:First,on the base of main performance that high-performance pumped concrete of STCC arch bridge, the function of principal materials of pumped STCC and the technical terms in the actual project was discussed in the paper. The conclusion of control range of main parameters was drawn and a lot of experimental research has been done. In the same time,the feasibility of applying neural networks to evaluate the performance of the self-compacting STCC is investigated. A three-layer back-propagation network is trained using the self-compacting behavior experimental data of the self-compacting STCC to predict the ductility of the self-compacting STCC. The predicted results agree well with the test results.Second,this paper introduces detailedly the essential capability of the STCC and the structure of STCC arch bridge. Aiming at zhijing river bridge,and based on which this paper also discuss the construction technology of the STCC arch bridge.Finally,in this article,the preprocess module GAMBIT of software FLUENT was used to build the improved models.Turbulent flow model was used to set up the numerical fluid dynamical model of STCC,and those models are simulated by FLUENT.
