Automobile Anti-lock Braking System is an active safety device. It can raise the safety performance and reduce accident rate. Now ABS has become a standard device equipped with on many vehicles. Chinese relevance legislation has been compulsively drawn up to call for equipping with ABS on passenger train and wagon. ABS will face a high-speed growth in China in future. But the inspection of ABS mainly depends on the road experience which needs much money, much time and much labor. It is lack of efficient and accurate testing means in room in China now. And it is not satisfy the requirement of ABS development and production.This paper mainly study simulation test and evaluation for core unit ECU of ABS.Firstly, it was studied that various simulation methods of automobile dynamics, coupled wheel was selected as study object. Body model, tire model, braking torque model and air pressure model were established. Then Matlab/simulation toolbox was used to simulate and analysis these above models. Secondly, these models were programmed by C, interactive interface was realized by VC++ program. The automobile dynamic model of braking process was established. Finally it was compared and analyzed between simulation result and actual road test. It was proved that this system can simulate various parameters of ABS actual test preferably.It was studied that tire signal emulation and valve control signal collection. Serial communication was studied between computer simulation system and ABS (ECU). Closed-loop test system for ABS (ECU) was established.
