The optical-fiber accelerometer development direction has the extremely high sensitivity and the bigger dynamirange.With the science and technology progress, surveys technical are requested to be more and more high. Changed the traditional instrument thought to take the virtual instrument as representative's new metering equipment, they fully use the computer formidable software and hardware function, the computer technology and survey technology in close integration with, was fused the electronic surveying, the computer and the network technology new survey technology. Specially based on computer platform each kind of metering equipment because the cost was low, merit and so on easy to operate obtained a more widespread application. The virtual instrument may fully use the computer the operation, the memory and the demonstration function, thus while reduces the instrument cost, causes the instrument the flexibility and the data-handling capacity greatly enhances, may more convenient set up the test system, better satisfies the many kinds of surveys request.The present paper in detail discussed the phase carrier interference fiber-optical accelerometer basic principle and the corresponding PGC detecting technology.
